So the world went bat-shit when we released the first lot of information about this essential Circoloco take over in Birmingham during April. Across one weekend a long list of house and techno talents including Visionquest, Jamie Jones, Kerri Chandler, Cassy, Matthias Tanzmann, The Martinez Brothers and many more are coming to party at new venue the Arena, as well as the beloved Rainbow complex. Now, though, there is more news from the various camps as the event edges ever nearer…
Due to incredible ticket demand, the size of the festival has necessarily been increased with more tickets now on sale. First up, house and techno pin-up Maceo Plex has been added to the Day time line-up as well as an all-new Area 2
What’s more, a larger Hot Natured afterparty has been lovingly planned for you after the initial allocation sold out in only a matter of weeks. What that means is that it will now be held on the street (whoop for street raves!) with out of this world production and sound opening up the entire Rainbow Complex including The Rainbow, The Courtyard, Cellar Door, The Garden and Warehouse for a full on afterparty experience sound tracked by tech houser David Squillace, French deep don Jef K, 2020Vision artist Simon Baker and Crosstown Rebels newcomers Fur Coat. That’s not all, though; as there will be loads more announcements in the run up to the event, so keep your eyes all over the web to stay in the loop….

April 7th from Midday until 1am and will see the launch of the brand new and hugely impressive Arena. As well as mind melting lights and pyrotechnics, the space will be decked out with heavy sound systems and all the extra promotion you'd expect of the world famous Circoloco brand. The space itself is a collection of Victorian railway arches under the over-reaching curve of The Rainbow’s embrace and somehow mimics the architecture of some ancient Coliseum and will hold up to 4,000 ravers: in time, it will no doubt become one of the city’s most essential rave spaces. Once The Arena finishes, it will be onto the warehouse at just past midnight where the sensational Hot Natured (aka Jamie Jones and Lee Foss) will take you through to 7am with a back to back set. Label mates Luca C and Ali Love as well as Clockwork and Richy Ahmed will also play, so expect plenty of creamy house sounds right through the night.

To finish off this Spring-time party extravaganza, Below will take the reins in The Courtyard (recently taken back to being a proper courtyard again, complete with natural light and exposed brick work, trees etc) for a day time special. This time the party runs from midday until 3am and will be headlined by one of the biggest teams in the game – namely Visionquest, which comprises Shaun Reeves, Lee Curtiss and Ryan Crosson. Of course, local night Below features too, with resident and founder Adam Shelton also playing, as will his One Records co-chief, Subb-an.
